About Nowruz at Civic Space Park
Join Councilwoman Yassamin Ansari, the International Rescue Committee, Arizona State University, Arizona Persian Cultural Center (AZPCC) and over thirty community partners for a multi-cultural night market and resource fair spotlighting Phoenix’s refugee and immigrant communities.
Every year, Nowruz attracts thousands of attendees in Downtown Phoenix for a one-of-a-kind festival featuring cuisine, handmade crafts, interactive arts and performances. To ensure we continue to grow this event as an inclusive and thoughtful community celebration, we will transform this year’s layout into a night market to respect many Phoenicians also observing Ramadan during this time.
Join us in welcoming the new year and building community beyond borders on March 16th – this event is FREE admission.
Nowruz at Civic Space Park is hosted in partnership with the Arizona Persian Cultural Center, International Rescue Committee (IRC), and Downtown Phoenix Inc.
